Yesterday was my mother’s birthday，and my father and I planned to give her a surprise.

In the morning, as usual, my father and mother went to work and I went to school at eight o’clock My mother seemed to have forgotten what day yesterday was. At four o’clock in the afternoon my father bought a bunch of flowers as well as a lot of good food which my mother likes to eat. I bought my mother a large and beautiful birthday cake. When my mother got home, she was greatly surprised by what she saw. All we had done made her very happy. After supper, I asked my mother to sit down and watch TV, while my father began to clean the floor and I set out to do the washing-up.

How happy my family were yesterday! Till now the happy memory is still crowding into my mind!
